Have you all met Whiskers yet? He's the new South Summit Elementary School mascot. The school held a naming contest for him and Whiskers was the winner. He can be seen at assemblies and other important events throughout the year. Mrs. McCormick's class had a lot of fun using their Sphero robots with a comprehension activity. They summarized a novel and then moved the Spheros through the rectangle with the bots speaking their summary. The robots were purchased with a K12 computer science grant. #wearesouthsummit
