SSHS had a group of nearly 55 students take ACT exam last weekend. In what may become a tradition, administrators woke up early to cook them breakfast at the high school before the boarded the school bus to their testing destination. The Monday Mentor Program is up and going thanks to our new social worker, Mrs. Cook. The program takes students from the high school and pairs them up with middle school students in a two way buddy/mentorship program. They had their first meeting last month and came up with some great ideas for future meetings.

Wrapping computer science education week, we love that these middle school students get to incorporate computer science into their daily core curriculum of reading.
