South Summit School District is accepting bids for an agriculture lease for the following property:
Owner: South Summit School District
Location: Parcels KT 275 X
Acreage: Approximately 5.92 Acres of Agriculture (Pasture) Land and 15.99 Acres of Hill Side
Available Water: Approximately 32 Shares of Beaver/Shingle Creek Water
Lease Period: April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2027 (The Board of Education reserves the right to extend the lease for up to two additional years)
Cost of property improvements including maintenance of fences and ditches is to be borne by the Lessee unless otherwise approved in advance by the school district.
Bids should reflect the annual lease amount only. All property and fences must be maintained and kept in good repair.

Love is in the air! Happy Valentine's Day!
Our very own Brysen proved to be the best clay target shooter in his division in the nation. At the recent annual USA Clay Target League competition he placed first overall with a score of 24.1 (25 being the best). That's with 49,000 kids competing. The South Summit Trap Shooting Team led by Coach Neil Creer, finished second in the nation out of 198 teams. Peyton finished the season with the high overall average in the ladies division. The USA Clay Target League is designed for kids who live in rural areas. They go to their local gun club each week and shoot with their team and then their coach posts their scores online. The South Summit team shoots at the local Lions Gun Club, where Shane McMillan helps them out. #WeAreSouthSummit #SSHSWildcats #TrapShooting #PullUSA #LionsClub
For state athletic events starting Friday all ticketing will be through GoFan.co. Search for "Kamas" or "UHSAA" in the search bar to find the event you want to purchase tickets for.

The SSHS Interact Club has been busy lately. Last week they spent an afternoon at St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall preparing 400 sandwiches. They were then able to help serve the evening's meal to homeless individuals and people in need.
