Safe Walking/Biking Map

Accessibility Description of South Summit School District Traffic Map
This image is a traffic and pedestrian safety map for the South Summit School District. This map is intended to inform drivers, students, and parents about traffic control measures and safe walking routes within the South Summit School District. It highlights areas of potential pedestrian activity, ensuring that everyone is aware of where to expect students and how to navigate the area safely.
A note at the bottom left reads: “When students on roadside walking face traffic they walk,” suggesting that students walking along roadsides should face oncoming traffic for safety.
Parents, please use the above map to identify the safest routes for walking or biking to school. The red dots show which side of the street the student should walk on when there is not a sidewalk available. Students on the west side of Kamas should only cross Main Street (U32), where there is a signal light (Center Street and 200 South).
