Registration

We designed our enrollment process to welcome new families into our educational community. We’ll help you every step of the way.

Kindergarten & New Student Registration

1. Call the office of the school your child will attend to schedule a 15-minute appointment.
2. You must pre-register before the appointment.
3. Once you have registered online, please take the registration documents to your appointment:

• Photo ID
• Proof of residency documentation (utility bill, affidavit of proof of residency, etc., showing parent/guardian’s current name and address that proves you live within school boundaries)
• Birth certificate (must be the original birth certificate)
• Immunization records or Utah Immunization Exemption Information Form
• Previous school records (if applicable)
• Proof of guardianship (if applicable)
• Proof of Residency Affidavit Form (if applicable)

Parents of first-time students must complete our Annual School Forms. Instructions for our Annual School Forms, which give us information for emergency contacts, permission for computer and internet use, field trip permission, and other important information. If logging in to PowerSchool for the first time, your username is the first initial of your first name and your complete last name. Your password will default to 123456.

School Choice Applications

Families interested in schools outside their attendance area must submit a school choice application to be considered.

School Choice Timeline

• October
  Schools are declared as open or closed at the October school board meeting
• November 15 Web Posting:
  • Building capacity, utilization factor, and functional capacity
  • Previous year’s number of applications, acceptances, and transfers
• November 15–1st Friday in February
  Early Open Enrollment Applications accepted
• March 1
  Late Open Enrollment Applications accepted
• March 31
  Notification of acceptance/denial of Early Open Enrollment Applications
• April Web Posting:
  • April enrollment
• August (the Friday before school begins)
  Notification of acceptance/denial of Late Open Enrollment Applications
  Visit our district office for assistance with the enrollment process.
