South Summit School District maintains safe, clean, and functional facilities that support optimal learning environments for our students and staff. Our Facilities Department oversees the maintenance, operation, and improvement of all district buildings and grounds.

Building Rental

We know our campus facilities are important to the community for various events and occasions. We support and welcome community organizations to use our district facilities, gymnasiums, and fields.

School property is public property. The SSSD School Board has the ultimate responsibility for protecting and maintaining these assets for the benefit of its students. When students are not using school property, it is the board’s intent to make these resources available as “permitted civic centers” for public use under specific requirements and restrictions.

Those who wish to use any district building after school hours must contact the district facilities scheduler via the district-approved district building rental software. Schools have first priority when a schedule is submitted to the facilities scheduler by June 30 of each year. Rental requests made after July 1 will be scheduled on a time- and space-available basis.
