The South Summit School Board serves as the governing body for our district, providing oversight and direction to ensure educational excellence for all students. Our elected board members bring diverse perspectives and expertise to their important work.
Please Join Us
We hold board meetings on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) in the South Summit School District office boardroom at 285 E. 400 S. All regular board meetings are open to the public. We encourage community participation and value input from families, staff, and community members as we work together to shape the future of education in our district.

The strategic goals of the South Summit Board of Education are as follows:
- Develop and foster effective district-community partnerships
- Develop and implement an effective learning environment and instructional program
- Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality educational leaders, teachers, and staff
- Implement an effective mental health and social and emotional learning program
- Create and sustain safe, high-quality, and innovative learning spaces that foster student success and community engagement
