Career & Technical Education (CTE)
Career and Technical Education (CTE) creates Pathways to lifelong career success for every secondary student by providing him or her with the technical skills and academic knowledge needed to prepare for future employment and/or a successful transition to postsecondary education.
CTE provides students with technical training to prepare for a successful career. The structured training each student receives gives him or her the tools needed to be successful in a career after high school and/or further his or her postsecondary education, whether technical school, two- or four-year college. Each student is encouraged to explore various Areas of Study and to develop the essential skills to enter today’s competitive job market with confidence. Please visit the CTE website for all the program details.
English Language Learners
The primary focus of our English Language Learners program is to help non-native English speakers become literate in English communication through the following life-skills curricula:
- Speaking
- Reading
- Writing
- Listening
The program is also designed to assist individuals who live in a family or community environment where a language other than English is the dominant language.
Special Education Administration
We believe in the power of effective teaching to transform lives. Our educators use research-based practices to create learning experiences that are relevant, rigorous, and responsive to student needs.
