Report a Concern

Any person may report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment (whether or not the person reporting is the person alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute sex discrimination or sexual harassment), in person, by mail, by telephone, or by electronic mail, using the contact information listed for the Title IX coordinator, or by any other means that results in the Title IX coordinator receiving the person’s verbal or written report. Such a report may be made at any time (including during non-business hours) by using the telephone number or electronic mail address, or by mail to the office address, listed for the Title IX coordinator.

South Summit School District is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students and employees. Bullying, cyberbullying, hazing, retaliation, and abusive conduct are prohibited and will not be tolerated. Students, parents, employees, volunteers, and community members are encouraged to report concerns promptly so the district can respond appropriately and provide support to those affected.

All reports will be reviewed and investigated in a timely and confidential manner. Retaliation against any individual who reports an incident or participates in an investigation is strictly prohibited. If a violation is substantiated, the district will take appropriate action, which may include disciplinary consequences, restorative practices, supportive services, safety measures, and other interventions designed to protect students and maintain a positive school climate.
