Abbott & Fenner Scholarship Program

Abbott & Fenner are committed to continuing our efforts at helping those who have the desire and ambition to succeed.  Open to all high school juniors & seniors.  Essay required, due 6/7/24. 

AES Engineering Scholarship

A $500 scholarship awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted. Scholarships are intended for future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible. Deadline 10/8/23.

AFA's Teen Alzheimer's Awareness Scholarship

This scholarship provides an opportunity for college-bound students to give thoughtful consideration to the impact Alzheimer’s disease has on their own lives and others in their family and community. Students may submit an essay (1500 word maximum) or a 4 min. video, deadline 4/1/24.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship

400 students can receive up to $40,00 towards an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science and an offer to complete a summer internship at Amazon. Apply by 12/21/23.

American Chemical Society Scholarship

ACS sponsors scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology and teaching. The programs aim to encourage diversity among applicants and build awareness of the value and rewards associated with careers in science and technology. Deadlines vary.

American Institute of Architects

The AIA offers several scholarship opportunities and resources for students and teachers interested in architecture education. Deadlines vary.

American Legion Oratorical Contest

The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Young orators earn some of the most generous college scholarships available to high school students. See website for more details.

American Meteorological Society Scholarship

The American Meteorological Society is pleased to announce the AMS Freshman Undergraduate Scholarship program, open to all high school students and designed to encourage study in the atmospheric and related sciences. $5000 award, application 2/3/24.

American Nuclear Society Freshman Scholarships

Awarded to graduating high-school seniors who have enrolled, full-time, in college courses and are pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and courses with an interest in working in nuclear science and technology. Deadline 2/1/24.

Army ROTC Scholarships

Based on leadership, scholarship, and extracurricular activities, military obligation required.

Asian Pacific Islander Organizations Scholarship

Students of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity. Award amounts range between $2500 - $5000 to over 200 first-year college students. Applications due 1/9/24.

Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship

Scholarships are available for students training to become automotive, heavy duty or collision repair technicians, and to students in business, marketing, engineering, or other major courses of study.  Deadline 3/31/24.

B. Davis Scholarship

Seniors and Juniors may apply online. Essay on leadership qualities required, deadline 5/21/24.

Bachus & Schanker Scholarship

Students have the opportunity to apply for one of the $2000 semiannual scholarships to be paid toward tuition for the upcoming semester. Each student must write an essay about his or her opinion(s) on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment. Applications due 11/30 for spring semester and 7/30 for fall semester. 

Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship

The Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship Program awards college scholarships to childhood cancer survivors who have demonstrated the ability to overcome the difficult challenges of cancer with determination and motivation. Apply by 4/1/24.

Big Sun Athletics Scholarship

The Big Sun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. $500 scholarship, deadline 6/19/24. 

BSA Eagle Scout

Applicant must be an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. Applications open 12/1, will be posted online at www.nesa.org.

Burger King Scholarship

For seniors who have 2.5 GPA or higher. Go online for information and to apply between 10/16 - 12/15/23.

C-Span Documentary Video Contest

For students in grades 6-12. StudentCam is C-SPAN's annual national video documentary competition that encourages students to think seriously about issues that affect our communities and our nation. Submit video by 1/19/24.

Cameron Impact Scholarship

The Bryan Cameron Education Foundation awards four-year, full-tuition, merit-based undergraduate scholarships to exceptional high school students who have demonstrated passion and commitment in academics, extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service. Applications due 9/8/23.

Carl N. & Margaret Karcher Founders' Scholarship

On behalf of Carl's Jr. founders, we award $100,000 in scholarships to high school seniors who have excelled academically, demonstrated leadership in extracurriculars and need financial assistance for college. Apply online by 4/4/24.

CC Bank's Young Scholars Scholarship

Up to five (5) $2000 scholarships will be awarded to students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who have participated in community service and can show financial need. Apply by 12/31/23.

Chick-fil-A Scholarship

Chick-fil-A has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue their education in college, vocational, or graduate school programs. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be involved in community service, extracurricular activities and/or leadership. Due 11/1/23.

Claes Nobel Good Earth Sustainability Scholarship

Available to high school and college students with a dedicated passion for conservation, sustainability, environmental policy or preservation of the earth. Five (5) $2000 scholarships, apply by 8/1/23.

Coca-Cola Scholarship

For students who demonstrated leadership, commitment to community and academic achievement. 3.0 minimum GPA. Application deadline 10/2/23.

CodeWizardsHQ Educational Scholarship

High school seniors and incoming college freshmen can apply to receive $2500 to support their education. Minimum 3.5 GPA, with preference given to students in STEM fields. Apply online by 5/1/24.

College JumpStart Scholarship

An annual, merit-based competition open to 10 - 12th graders, college students and non-traditional students. The main requirement is that you are committed to going to school and can express your goals for getting a higher education. $1000 award, can be used at any college or university.  Due 10/17/23.

Courage to Grow Scholarship

$500 scholarship awarded monthly to juniors or seniors in high school who will write a short essay on why they deserve the scholarship. Monthly deadlines & application online.

Create-A-Greeting Card Contest

Grades 9-12 may apply. Design a greeting card and win $10000! Applications due 3/1/24.

Daniels Fund Scholarship Program

The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year annually-renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities.  Financial need is also a consideration.  Application due 10/15/23.

Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarships

The DAR offers a variety of scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of higher education in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English.  Applications open 11/1/23 and are due 1/31/24.

Dell Scholars Program

The Dell Scholars Program provides a support system for the challenges many students face when pursuing a college degree. Must be a member of GearUp to apply. Application due 12/1/23.

DFA Cares Foundation Scholarship

Scholarships are available to students pursuing a career in the dairy industry or a related field. Applications due 1/12/24.

Do Something Awards/Scholarships for Taking Action

Some scholarships are open to all grades, for participating in community service activities.  Applications are available online. 

Doodle for Google Art Contest

Doodle 4 Google is an annual program that invites K-12 students in the United States to use their artistic talents to think big and redesign our homepage logo for millions to see.

Dr. Juan Andrade. Jr. Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders

An Applicant must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited four-year or two-year institution in the U.S. or U.S. territories, and demonstrate a verifiable need for financial support. At least one parent must be of Hispanic ancestry. Non-US citizens are eligible to apply (DACA or Undocumented).  Apply online by 11/30/23.

Duck Tape Prom Scholarship Contest

The Stuck at Prom® Scholarship Contest challenges students to create prom outfits using Duck Tape® and wear them to prom for a chance to win scholarship cash.  Contest open late March 2024.

Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship

Applicants will be required to write an essay about how their experience with mental health has influenced their beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations. $500 scholarship, due 11/30/23.

Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship

The Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship exists to move the tech industry in the right direction by empowering the next generation of extraordinary women leaders.  $500 scholarship, due 11/30/23.

Elks Legacy Scholarship

Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of Elks members. Application due 2/5/24.

Elks Most ValuableStudent Scholarship

Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.  Apply online by 11/13/23.

Equitable Excellence Scholarship

Every year, Equitable recognizes high-school students who have made remarkable contributions to their schools or communities and award them with scholarships of $2,500 or $5,000 – helping them get closer to their dream of attending college. Apply online by 12/18/23.

Farm Kids for College Scholarship

High School seniors planning to major in an agricultural field can apply for one of three cash awards. Submit online by 4/9/24.

Financial Goals Scholarship

The Financial Goals $2000 Scholarship is available to students who are 18 years of age or older. To be considered, you must submit a 500 - word essay on your financial goals and how you plan to achieve them. Rolling deadlines with a winner every month.

Foot Locker Scholar Athletes

Twenty Foot Locker Scholar Athletes will each receive $20,000 in college scholarship money for their excellence in school, on their sports teams and in their communities.  Apply online by 4/1/24.

Frame My Future Scholarship

How do you envision your future? Whether through photography, ink, collage, painting, mixed media, or graphic design work, submit an original creation expressing what YOU hope to achieve in your personal and professional life after college. Submit your original work by 3/15/24.

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship

Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Apply online by 1/4/24.

Great Clips Scholarship

High school students or those currently enrolled in a Cosmetology program can apply for a scholarship through the Great Scholarship program, which can be used at any cosmetology or barbering school. Deadlines vary.

Hagan Scholarship

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship for high achieving, self-motivated students. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester, for up to eight consecutive semesters, to help recipients graduate college debt free. Minimum 3.50 GPA.  Apply by 3/1/24.

Heisman High School Scholarship

The Heisman High School Scholarship continues a 25-year tradition of honoring high school seniors who accomplish tremendous feats in the classroom, on the field, and most importantly, within their communities. The scholarship recognizes and rewards both male and female high school athletes who are community-minded and driven to use their exceptional talents for the benefit of all.  Apply online by 10/17/23.

Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards

HHF Youth Awards honor Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their excellence in various categories including: Business & Entrepreneurship, Community Service, Education, Healthcare & Science, Media & Entertainment, and Technology & Engineering.
Application due 11/13/23.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The HSF administers a variety of scholarship programs.  Applicants must be of Hispanic origin, min. 3.0 GPA, US citizen, permanent legal resident, DACA or eligible non-citizen.   Applications due 2/15/24.

Honors Graduation Multimedia Scholarship

Design a Better Future by designing & working on a community improvement project and documenting your work through multimedia resources.  Five- $10000 awards, application due 4/8/24.

Horatio Alger Career & Technical Scholarships

Over 1000 awards up to $2500 for students who plan to pursue and complete a career or technical certificate or degree.  Must be Pell eligible.  Applications due 9/15/23.

The Little Bundle Supermom Scholarship

A student scholarship designed to support single mothers, children of single mothers, or people whose lives have been impacted in positive ways by single mothers. The Scholarship is awarded to one college winner and one high school winner every six months.

Information Security UndergraduateScholarship

Aspiring information security professionals have the opportunity to ease some of their educational financial burden with the (ISC)² Information Security Undergraduate Scholarship, offering undergraduate students studying information security up to $5,000 per recipient. Apply online by 2/29/24.

Intel Regeneron Science Talent Search

Scholarship for bright, ambitious, science, math, and engineering students doing independent scientific research. Award amounts vary.  Application due 11/8/23.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship Program

One of the largest undergraduate scholarship programs available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need. Apply online by 11/16/23.

Jackie Robinson Foundation's Scholarship Program

The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarships of up to $28,000/four years to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.  Apply online by 1/10/24.

Joseph James Morelli Scholarship Fund

The Joseph James Morelli Scholarship Fund (based in Park City) supports high school and college students with dyslexia who wish to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).  Awards range from $500 - 2500, application deadline 2/25/24. 

La Jolla Mom Communications Scholarship

Students who plan to study communications or a related field are invited to apply for a $500 scholarship by writing an essay about their career choice. Fall & spring deadlines.

League Foundation Scholarships

League Foundation Scholarships are open to self-identified Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgender graduating high school seniors. Application due 4/15/24.

Live Mas Scholarship

The Taco Bell Foundation presents a scholarship for the creators, innovators & dreamers. Make & submit a 2 min. video that tells the story of your life's passion, and you could win up to $25,000. Apply by 1/3/24.

Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship

$10000 (renewable) scholarships for high school seniors planning to major in one of several STEM fields, including Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics and Information Systems/Management. Application due 4/1/24.

Make the U Scholarship

“Make the U” is an educational program from Colgate-Palmolive in partnership with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation that offers financial relief to Hispanic youth on their path to higher education.  If you have maintained academic excellence, have dedicated service to the community, and have demonstrated leadership, your effort could be rewarded by winning one of: 100 SCHOLARSHIPS WORTH $1,000 EACH.  Apply by 11/13/23.

Mattress Advisor Sleep Science Scholarship

Applicants need to submit a written piece exploring their personal relationship with sleep health and the impact it’s had on their education in an 800-1000 word essay. Apply by 3/20/24.

McDonald's HACER Scholarship

The McDonald’s HACER ® scholarship program grants scholarships and college resources for eligible Hispanic students.  Must be a high school senior, legal US resident, and have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage.  Application due 2/13/24.

Mensa US Scholarships

The Mensa Foundation offers over 150 $2500 scholarships to students who will write an essay explaining his/her career, academic or vocational goals. Applications are due 1/15/24.

Microsoft Disability Scholarship

This scholarship will identify promising high school seniors with disabilities who have potential to enter and successfully complete a vocational or academic college program and have a financial need. Application due 1/22/24.

National FFA Scholarships

National Honor Society Scholarship

Senior members of the NHS are eligible to apply. Applications open on TBA, deadline 11/30/23.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society Scholarships

The National MS Society’s scholarship program helps highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college.  Deadlines and amounts vary. 

National Peace Essay Contest

Grades 9-12. Check back for essay prompt. National winners will receive up to $2,500.

National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) Foundation Scholarships

Applications are open to anyone who will be enrolled in a certificate program or an undergraduate program for the next academic year following the application deadline. The applicant’s course of study should be in an academic field related to the building, construction or precast concrete industry. Application deadline 3/15/24.

National Security Agency/ Stokes Educational Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students planning on majoring in computer science or computer/electrical engineering. You will receive $30,000 per year for tuition and mandatory fees, work during the summers at NSA for 12 weeks in areas that are related to your course of study. Must work for the NSA after college for at least one and one-half times the length of study. Must apply by 10/31/23.

Navy-Marine ROTC Scholarships

Based on leadership, scholarship, and extracurricular activities. Award amount includes: tuition, book allowance, fees, plus monthly stipend.

NFB National Federation for the Blind

The National Federation of the Blind annually offers blind college students in the US the opportunity to win one of 30 merit-based, national-level scholarships worth from $3,000 to $12,000. All scholarships awarded are based on academic excellence, community service, and leadership. 

NSHSS Scholarships

The National Society of High School Scholars and its partners offer more than $2,000,000 in scholarships annually. All students are eligible to apply for high school and college scholarships in the areas of academic excellence, entrepreneurship, leadership, literature, medicine, music, STEM, sustainability, visual arts, and more.  Deadlines vary.

Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship

The Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship is designed for students who are between the ages of 16 and 25 who have maintained a 2.5 GPA or greater in the most recent year completed. Apply online by 11/15/23.

Odenza Vacations Scholarship

Write an essay about why you want to go to college or university to apply for this scholarship. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, application due 5/1/24.

PB&J Scholarship

The PB&J scholarship is awarded to students who have experienced challenges in their life that may not have allowed them to reflect well academically, but who have the drive to succeed. Deadline TBA.

Pet Play Scholarship

Students from across the U.S. are invited to apply for P.L.A.Y.’s annual Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship. This $1,500 scholarship rewards one student who can tell the best story, describing the impact he or she made in the life of a rescue animal or animal welfare cause in general.  Apply by 2/26/24.

PHCC Educational Foundation Scholarships

The Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Foundation offers over $150,000 in scholarships for students enrolled in or planning to enroll in an approved major related to the plumbing-heating-cooling profession.  Applications due 5/1/24.

Point Foundation Scholarship

Point Foundation (Point) is the nation’s largest higher education scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students. Each scholar is paired with a mentor and participates in leadership development programs and events.  Apply online by 12/5/23.

Prudential Emerging Visionaries

We are accepting applications from young leaders ages 14-18 who are bringing powerful vision and real change to their communities. The program supports young people across the country who are making change that focuses on two categories: solutions to financial barriers and solutions to social issues. Applications due 11/2/23.

Redefining Victory Scholarship

Write an essay on the following prompt: Describe what success looks like for you and how this opportunity will help you achieve it. Apply by 4/27/24.

Review It Scholarship

Dr. Gabriel & Christine Chiu will award a $1000 scholarship to the student who writes the best movie review! Must be planning to attend college in the fall of 2023, and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.  Submit your movie review by 5/15/24.

Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Technical School Scholarship

The Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Technical Scholarship is a one-time gift to students in technical programs who hope to take their education into the mining industry. Must be a first-year student at a two-year technical/trade school in good standing. Applicants must be a legal resident of Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Wyoming.  Apply online by 3/1/24.

Rover Scholarship

High school seniors or current college students may apply for this $2500 scholarship.  Write a 400-500 word essay on the question: How did caring for a pet growing up help shape you to be the adult you are today? App. due 5/1/24.

Rumba Meats & UHSLI Scholarship

Rumba Meats and the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute will award 25 - $1000 scholarships to help empowers today's Hispanic youth to become tomorrow's leaders.  App due 11/30/23.

SAE Engineering Scholarships

For students who plan on enrolling in an engineering or computer science major program. There are many scholarships offered through this foundation. Applications open 2/1/24, due 2/29/24.

Science Ambassador Scholarship

A full–tuition scholarship for a woman in science, technology, engineering, or math. Film a three–minute video of yourself explaining a STEM topic you're passionate about. Applications due 12/13/23.

Shawn Carter Scholarship

High school seniors and students with GEDs with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and a desire to attend college or vocational school can apply to be a Shawn Carter Scholar and receive financial support throughout college. Application opens 4/1/24, closes 4/30/24.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship

The SME Education Foundation’s scholarships offer students a powerful reason to choose a manufacturing focused education. Scholarships range from $1,000 - $6,000 and can be used for tuition, books or lab/course fees related to attaining a technical or engineering education. Applications are due 2/1/24.

Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship

Five scholarships in the amount of $1000 will be given to students who will write an essay on how to prevent distracted driving among young people. Submit essay & transcript by11/29/23.

Stockton Powers Memorial Scholarship

Memorial scholarship with a goal of raising awareness around suicide in the LGBTQ community in particular. Scholarship is available to seniors and students up to age 25 and may be applied to tuition, books, housing and other educational expenses. Requires several short essays. Application due TBA.

SuperMoney's mission is to help everyone reach their financial goals. SuperMoney's Financial Literacy Scholarship seeks to celebrate students who share our same mission. Team America Rocketry Challenge

Grades 7-12 The Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) is the world’s largest student rocket contest and a key piece of the aerospace and defense industry’s strategy to build a stronger U.S. workforce in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The contest gives middle and high school students the opportunity to design, build and launch model rockets and hands-on experience solving engineering problems.

The Ayn Rand Institute:Essay Contest

For juniors & seniors, write an essay on one of Ayn Rand's books and win up to $10,000.

TheDream.US Scholarship

TheDream.US Scholarships are for highly motivated undocumented students who want to get a college education but are unable to afford the cost. Will cover up to $33,000 in tuition and fees at partner colleges. Application available 2/29/24.

The Gates Scholarship

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential. Applications due 9/15/23.

The Spirit of Ann Frank Scholarship 

The Spirit of Anne Frank Awards are given out each year to students, teachers and citizens who have proven themselves exceptional leaders in combating intolerance, prejudice and injustice in their communities. One $10000 scholarship will be awarded. 

Toshiba/NSTA Exploravision Awards

Grades 7-12 Teams of 2 to 4 science students work together to explore the background of a present day invention, how it works and its impact. Information and applications available online.

Truman D. Picard Scholarship for Native American or Alaskan Natives

For Native American or Alaska Native students who plan to pursue a higher education in Natural Resources.  Application deadline 1/26/24. 

United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarships

Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation grants 20- $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. Applications due 1/19/24.

United States Senate Youth Program

The United States Senate Youth Program is a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service.  Two students from each state will attend Washington Week and receive a $10000 scholarship.  See counselor to apply.

Vegetarian Resource Group

Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment in promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle. Apply online by 2/20/24.

VIP Women in Technology Scholarship

Scholarships up to $2500 for women who plan to pursue studies in computer science, information technology, management information systems or related fields.  Requires 3.0 GPA and essay, due 3/31/24. 

Visionary Scholarship Program

Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors may apply by writing an essay on "Why College is Important to Me".  The American College Foundation encourages an early start in planning for college. Apply online  by 12/1/23.

Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship

The National Washington Crossing Foundation awards up to 40 students who plan to pursue a career in government service. An essay on why you plan to pursue government service is required. Apply by 1/15/24.

Work Ethic Scholarship Program

The Work Ethic Scholarship Program is about recognizing people who understand the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude. For students who plan to enroll in an approved program, including automotive technology, construction, emergency medical technology, farming & agriculture, HVAC and welding. Application due 9/20/23.
