We cannot express the importance of washing your hands. The CDC reports that absenteeism due to gastrointestinal illness in schoolchildren could be reduced by up to 57% with proper hand washing. Mrs. McCormick's class had a lot of fun using their Sphero robots with a comprehension activity. They summarized a novel and then moved the Spheros through the rectangle with the bots speaking their summary. The robots were purchased with a K12 computer science grant. #wearesouthsummit
